Mullard EL84
The new production Mullard EL84 6BQ5 tube is a copy of the original Mullard EL84. With black plates, carbonized screens, and gold plated grids, this tube was the “Voice of the Vox AC-30.” It was also found as a mainstay of affordable quality hi-fi amplifiers of the 1960’s. Smooth midrange, tight bottom, and clean highs make these a well balanced EL84 complimenting any EL84 amp you put them in.
